Born in Beaumont and grew up in Lumberton Texas. Currently live in Austin, Texas since 1995. Took my BBA in Finance at Lamar University in 1987 and personally mentored under Phill and Shenoah since 2011.
Did his first flip in 2011/12 and have been doing about 3 – 4 fix and flips, 3 – 5 new build projects, 3 – 5 wholesale deals per year since and have passively invested commercially in about 300 doors.
Some of Buddy’ strengths include being a maximizer – take something and make it better. Ideation – looks at processes, projects, problems in several ways at once (how does this work, is it good/bad, what should I do with it?)
Hobbies
Anything with water! Frozen water – I snowboard on it
Deep water – I scuba dive in it (Love Grand Cayman and the U.S Virgin Islands!)
Lake water – I wakeboard/surf on it
Travel – Love to travel. Been to Israel twice, Grand Cayman at least once a year
2 Dogs – Brindle Pug (Pico) and Catahoula mix (Rylie)
Fun facts
In the Amazon in Peru, I have swam in rivers that have many piranha – found out they don’t go after people!
